How do I create multiple users with different permissions levels under my Path account?
At this time, Path does not support multiple user profiles or permission levels under a single account. Each Path account is designed for individual use, with one login per account.
However, we understand that teams and organizations often need to collaborate or manage workflows across multiple users. Below are a few recommended workarounds that can help your team stay organized and productive while using Path.
👥 Option 1: Share a Master Team Account
You can choose to create and manage a single master Path account that multiple team members use to place and manage orders.
Benefits:
- Centralized view of all past and active orders
- Easier tracking and communication through one account
- Streamlined billing
Things to Consider:
- All team members will share the same login credentials
- Notifications and updates will be sent to one email address
- You'll need to internally manage which team members access the account and when
👤 Option 2: Create Separate Accounts for Each Team Member
Alternatively, you can choose to have individual Path accounts for each person on your team.
Benefits:
- Personal access and order history for each team member
- Independent control over uploads, preferences, and file management
- Separate billing
Things to Consider:
- Orders are kept separate, which may require more coordination if you're managing shared projects
- You’ll need to keep track of multiple accounts
✈️ What We're Working On
We understand that managing team workflows in a scalable way is important, especially for businesses and agencies. While multi-user accounts with role-based access and permissions are not available yet, it’s something we’re exploring for future development.
