Do I need to pay VAT if I am in the E.U.? How do I enable VAT exemption?

Yes, we’re a U.K. VAT-registered company and have to charge VAT to any customers in an E.U. country. All U.K. customers must pay VAT, whereas other E.U. customers only pay VAT if they are consumers or businesses without VAT registration.

If you’re from one of the E.U. countries and have a VAT registration number, you can enable VAT exemption by registering your business details during checkout.

Follow the steps below to enable VAT exemption:

Step 1: Log in to your Path account

Click the Log in icon located in the top right corner of the website, then enter your email address and password.

  • Path Credits

Step 4: Enter VAT information

During checkout, select your preferred payment method (credit card or PayPal).

At the bottom of the selected payment option, check the box labeled “I’m purchasing as a business”. You’ll then be prompted to enter your business name and VAT number.
